ANNUAL EXCURSION BY OUR APPRENTICES

As every year, there was an excursion for our trainees in 2022, where you could get to know each other and strengthen the team spirit. This year, on September 8th, a week after the start of the apprenticeship, our four apprentices and their two trainers went to the beautiful Black Forest. After the start at seven o'clock and a hearty breakfast at the bakery, the first destination of the journey was the Europa Park in Rust. During an entertaining ride in a relaxed atmosphere, the plan was made to ride all the roller coasters that the amusement park has to offer in order to start the two days ahead with fun and excitement. When they arrived in Rust, they put it into practice immediately and kept the adrenaline level high.

After an eventful day, we went to a steakhouse in Freiburg to wind down, where we spent the rest of the evening in good company. After a restful night in the botique hotel, we strengthened ourselves the next morning at the hotel's own breakfast buffet. From there we went to Todtnau to the Hasenhorn Coaster. With a length of 2.90 km, it is considered the longest and most spectacular toboggan run in Germany, the start of which has to be reached at an altitude of 1065 meters. We decided to take the chairlift up, which was a much faster and less sweaty alternative to running. After six winding and rapid minutes of descent, everyone drove to the finish line.

At the end of the excursion we made a short detour to Titisee-Neustadt. At Lake Titisee we rented an electric motor boat and were able to experience the most beautiful sides of the Black Forest on the boat, away from the hustle and bustle. After that we started the journey home.
